Would like to remove the android apps that came with my 2gen Firestick. Came across this approach and would like to know if it is safe to use..and/or which apps are safe to remove?
Open ES File Explorer
Select Quick Access Menu located top left of your screen
Select Tools
Scroll down to Root Explorer and if it says Off click on it so it says On. If you have not done this before SUperUser will ask for acess. Allow access.
Click on Root Explorer. NOT on the On/Off but to the left hand side of it.
Select Uninstall System App
Long Press on any app you wish to remove and select Uninstall
If you are 100% that the app is safe to remove select OK
Repeat for any other apps you wish to remove
Reboot
